So this will be the second to last tumblr log, and I have noticed that I can’t even talk about the sports life, and also the fact that nothing has changed in the last week. But I do know that I mistakenly thought that they light the big x-mas tree downtown in a couple of days when they actually did right after thanksgiving break, so that kind of killed some plans, btu the 3 inches of snow didn’t really make the day any better for my car. It was slipping and sliding all over howard street, and my friends thought I was the worst driver, and then I thought about this log, and said that this possibly could be the worst entry yet.
Finally the bulls get a win. The bulls capitalized on the turnovers the hawks had on tuesday night. Still the bulls are last in conference, notjust division, but the celtics and orlando are to great start. With game winning buzzers beater from Allen to pure domination in the post by Howard both teams have only 2 loses out of the 113 games played. And big news is that Lebron James, in his 4th year in the leagure and as a 23 yr. old, he took his team to the finals, was runner up for MVP consecutive years, and rookie of the year. Almost forgot he averaged a triple double in the last 5 games, before hurting his hand and closing their win streak this year. Also leads the league in points per game and averages 8+ dishes and boards so MVP.
Who is shocked that Michigan football coach is retiring after 10 yrs. of coaching the wolverines. He won five bowl championships and 7 conference championships in those ten years. Remarkable coach, and he made the wolverines what they are today, a top ranked football team. Anyways, hope everyone in UCWR 110 on tuesdays and thursdays classes with Vorhes enjoy thanksgiving break.
The Bears finally pulled off a win! Speaking of sports, the NBA’s Celtics are on fire to one of their best season starts since the Bird, Russell, McHale, and Cousy years. Also, Kobe vs. T-Mac tonight, and McGrady was dropping 40 plus points every game and then he got injured against the Lakers tonight and was rushed to a hospital. Does not look good for the Rockets now. Also, can not forget that J. Kidd pulled off another triple-double, lining him up for second in career totals and against Oscar Robertson, now only 25 or less away. I mean if Kidd sits out one single game, that’s not just a triple double, but atleast ten points, atleast 20 points of the least amount of ten assists, and atleast 10 rebounds at game. So the Nets would be losing 30 points atleast if Kidd was not in the lineup.
It is week ten of this Tumblr log adventure, and what else is there to talk about besides that the Bulls are off to a horrible start of the season, with 4 close games in which they had leads in at a point or two in each game. Speaking of NBA, Tracy McGrady is off to a hot start with 40+ points in each game so far, and Chris Paul, 2 year point guard, is off to a good start with his undefeated Hornets. He dished out 21 assists to pull the win off on the Lakers a couple of nighs ago. Besides sports, there are some good movies out in theaters right now. American Gangster is definately one that should be seen, and We Own the Night is a good one too. If you get a chance go watch the movies or the Bulls!
Yes, the Bears are done, and it is official. But the Bulls are something more fun to look forward to now that they had a very close exciting overtime game opener against the Nets. Any body know how many more weeks of this Tumblr thing we have, I mean we’re on week 9 I just want to know what week we get to stop. Anyways, go bulls and happy halloween.
So who is looking forward to the Bulls season starting? I am, because that is the only ray of hope left in this cold-winded city. Yes, this is me, I always talk about sports and nothing else. There’s really nothing else out there besides the fact I am getting C’s in all my classes and have to kick it up a knotch. Hopefully this tumblr thing will help out if I am border line on a grade. Chicago has nothing to live or look forward to as of right now. The cubs lost in the first round and now the bears lost the against the vikings. I mean how can you let some rush that much on the number defense from the previous year? Just inexplainable, is what the answer is. Now, we just have to patiently wait for the tip off of the NBA season, and of course Tom Brady is unstoppable with now armed with randy moss, they will win the whole thing this year.
What the hell? Who would have guessed the Cubs would have got swept by the DIAMOND BACKS? I sure have wouldn’t have. It was stupid how they were worried about there pitching so much that they forgot to worry about the hitting the ball part. What ever, the Bulls season is going to start soon, and now with Greg Olson(saved the Bears from a loss on last sunday’s game) back and being healthy they should go on a streak too. And by the way mid-terms are difficult, very difficult.
The cubs made it again! A lot of fair weather fans think that the cubs will choke again, but they don’t know that this time there won’t some idiot who rather have a foul ball then have his home team advance to the world series. Nope, not this time there won’t be one, and if there is he won’t have death threats once he gets home or have to move to a different state. The cubs fans there won’t let him out alive, and let say he makes it to his house, the fans will destroy his house before he can get in. I am feeling that cubs will win over the D’Backs in 4 games.
